Our coaches already do some great work at schools and with young players across North Yorkshire. Basketball being the second most popular sport among under 16's, why not offer basketball as part of your extra curricular activity. Get in contact and one of our coaches will get back to you.

Why Basketball?

With millions of fans worldwide, basketball is undoubtedly one of the most beloved sports. In England alone, over 1.1 million children under 16 years old participate in this exciting game. It's an excellent opportunity for kids to stay active, both mentally and physically, and become part of a larger community while having fun and developing new skills.

Life Skills

Basketball, like other team sports, fosters life skills such as self-discipline, as players must adhere to rules or face consequences. It also promotes teamwork and the formation of friendships. Strategy is a crucial aspect of basketball, and learning the sport can help children understand how to think strategically and apply those skills.

Why Us?

Our team consists of enthusiastic Ballers who are actively playing, coaching and running clubs. We are dedicated to promoting the sport at a local level, in junior and senior clubs, as well as schools. All three of us are experienced Level 2 qualified coaches.

Fitness & Health

Basketball is a great form of physical exercise that involves various movements such as running, jumping, dribbling, passing, and shooting. It helps in toning the body and building muscles due to the rigorous use of the entire body. Additionally, the game also improves hand-eye coordination and agility.
